INTEGRITY PACT IN NEEPCO
INTEGRITY PACT (IP), a tool to ensure transparency, equity and competitiveness in the procurement process, has been adopted by NEEPCO in its tenders having estimated value of Rs. 50 Crore and above (threshold value). It envisages an agreement between the prospective vendors/bidders and the buyers, committing that the persons / officials of both the sides, not to resort to any corrupt practices in any aspect/stage of the contract.
The provision of IP is specified in the Bidding/Tender Document wherever applicable. The Bidder shall be required to submit the signed Integrity Pact as per the format specified in the bidding documents of respective tenders. The sample Format of Integrity Pact may be seen as linked herewith.
In order to review independently and objectively, whether and to what extent parties have complied with their obligations under the Pact in NEEPCO’s tenders, the following two Independent External Monitors (IEMs) are appointed:
