NEEPCO and SISPA entered in a MOU on 29.02.2024

In a groundbreaking initiative for equipping our workforce with the best of training and development opportunities , encouraging innovations in the fields of research , security in general, consultancy, etc, North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd., (NEEPCO) and School of Internal Security and Police Administration under the aegis of Rashtriya Raksha University (SISPA, RRU) entered in a at Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

During the visit to RRU, Director (Personnel) also met Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel, Vice Chancellor ,RRU who also serves as a Member of the National Security Advisory Board (NSAB) of India Deliberation on the strategic role of NEEPCO in the energy sector and potential collaboration of mutual benefit in the area of training, research, security, consultancy ,etc. took place during the interaction.

1st MoU was signed between NEEPCO and NPTI

In a historic step 1st MoU was signed between NEEPCO and NPTI, Faridabad under Ministry of Power by Maj Gen R.K Jha, AVSM* (Retd.), Director (Personnel), NEEPCO and Dr. Tripta Thakur, Director General, NPTI in presence of Dr. Diganta Borah, Head of Training, NEEPCO, Shri Santanu Bezbaruah, Head of HR, NEEPCO, New Delhi and other officials from NPTI on 23/02/2024. The MoU will go a long way in synergizing the potentiality of employees towards development of Human Resources and its capacity building in the realm of Power Sector. The MOU will strengthen the partnership between NPTI and NEEPCO as they pursue their common goals of imparting training jointly for working professionals from NEEPCO in areas of mutual interest in India.

MOU signing between NEEPCO and GRSE on 11th January 2024

A MOU was signed between NEEPCO and Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd. (GRSE) on 11th January 2024 for manufacture, supply, transportation and launching of bailey/ bailey suspension/ steel girder (modular) bridges for the upcoming projects of NEEPCO.

MOU signing between NEEPCO and RITES on 22nd December 2023

A MOU was signed between NEEPCO and Rail India Technical and Economic Service Ltd. (RITES) on 22nd December 2023 for Project Management Consultancy beginning from concept to commissioning, in connection with the new rail connectivity, up-gradation/ renovation including construction of Railway connectivity and other infrastructure required for logistics including Rapid Loading System (RLS/SILO) / Conveyor system at various places, for the Siang Basin hydro-power projects of NEEPCO.
