NEEPCO on 25^th October 2022 inked Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Govt of Meghalaya for the development of 50 MW Wah Umiam Stage-I and 100 MW Wah Umiam Stage-II Hydro Electric Projects. The MoAs were signed by Shri D. D. Shira, Joint Secretary, Power Department, Meghalaya and Shri Anil Kumar, Director (Personnel) from NEEPCO side in august presence of the Hon’ble Dy. Chief Minister of Meghalaya Shri P. Tynsong, Shri Abdus Saleh, Chairman, Meghalaya State Planning Board, Shri Pravin Bakshi, Commissioner & Secretary (Power) and other Officers of Govt.

Director (Personnel), NEEPCO during his official visit to Delhi on 26.10.23 got the opportunity to meet Shri R.K. Singh, Hon'ble Cabinet Minister (Power, New & Renewable Energy), Smt. Arti Ahuja, Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment, GoI and interact with the figureheads of the power sector. Deliberated on exchange of Best Practices in HR Management, initiatives for welfare of workforce, industrial relations, talent scouting and future growth of NEEPCO at large.
 

Glimpses of Director (Personnel) , NEEPCO Maj Gen Rajesh Kumar Jha, AVSM (Retd.), interacting with esteemed personalities  at an event organised at Guwahati. Director (P) took the opportunity to deliberate on many crucial matters of common interest and overall development of NEEPCO and NER at large.

Glimpses of attending the "Review Meeting held under the Chairmanship of Shri Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, Hon'ble Chairperson, National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) on OBC reservation and welfare measures" on 10.11.2023 at Guwahati. During the meeting Major General Rajesh Kumar Jha, AVSM (Retd), Director (P), NEEPCO asserted NEEPCO's commitment to protect and promote the welfare of our OBC employees and all our employees at large.

Major General R.K. Jha, AVSM (Retd.), Director (P) concluded his official visit to Arunachal Pradesh after paying a courtesy call to His Excellency Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Lt. Gen Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd) on 23.11.2023. Director (P) shared insights His Excellency and deliberated on some key topics of strategic importance and initiatives for development of NEEPCO and Arunachal Pradesh.

Insightful discussion  on Energy Transition pathway of NEEPCO also fructified during the meeting.

Major General Rajesh Kumar Jha, AVSM (Retd), Director (Personnel) interacted with His Excellency, Governor of Nagaland - Shri La Ganesan at Kohima on 04.12.2023.
Discussed on exploring areas of possible collaboration between NEEPCO and Govt of Nagaland and on the areas of Energy Security. His Excellency also highlighted the strategic importance of increased footprint of NEEPCO in the North East.
