The Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM), a flagship programme under the CSR-CD initiative of NEEPCO, commenced at AGBPS, NEEPCO on 1st July 2026. The month-long programme has brought together 60 girl students from 10 schools located in the nearby areas of the plant.
Throughout the programme, the participants will undergo comprehensive training in physical fitness, computer literacy, life skills, personality development, communication skills, cyber security awareness, health and hygiene, and beautician skills. In addition, they will take part in various educational and developmental activities aimed at enhancing their confidence, broadening their knowledge, and equipping them with the skills needed to face future challenges and seize emerging opportunities.
